Have you ever found yourself scrolling down your LinkedIn newsfeed filled with unprofessional, pretentious, and cringey content and wondered ... what the hell happened to this place? In recent years, my LinkedIn newsfeed has been swamped by absolute garbage with the exception of a few revelant posts that pop up once in a blue moon.
In my own experience, the LinkedIn newsfeed is usually brought up most often in the context of a joke or pure mockery. Today, after coming across a post from yet another one of those supposed LinkedIn "influencers", I decided to take things into my own hands.
Introducing Linkypad - a Chrome extension that completely replaces your newsfeed with a cute little notepad. The notepad stores the text in local storage so you can keep all your content nice and safe. Personally, I find it more useful to have a place to jot down todo lists, ideas, and contact notes rather than be forced to watch that low quality video you were probably already sent on Whatsapp.
Check it out on the Chrome Web Store - I hope you'll find it useful.
